It was fun, you only have to choose between two characters that are presented to you (or to choose both of them or neither of them if you can't decide - for me, to choose between Near and Matsuda is almost impossible ^^). There are several pairs in many combinations. The result is a table with your most favourite and least favourite characters.
My results are:
1. L, Ryuk, Matsuda, Near
5. Light, Mogi, Mello
8. Mikami, Naomi Misora
10. Aizawa, Watari
I assume the characters that are on the same position have the same score. I think it worked for me, no real surprise here (L, Matsuda and Near are love!). Maybe Ryuk on the first position is a bit of surprise but I am not complaining, Ryuk is great. And Mogi on the fifth position is surprising but he was paired with Misa and other people I don't like so it won him some points.
