A bit of update
Jun. 24th, 2008 08:51 pmI haven't posted anything for a long time, let's write some random rant about my current a/m obsessions.
Junjou Romantica should have had 24 episodes, now it's cut to 12 only. No one knows if this great series will continue or not. Today I have read some rumours about live-action version being made. No one provided us with a link to any official information so I think it's just a bullshit made by desperate fans. In fact, I hope it's bullshit because Gakuen Heaven is being made into musical and after seeing the cast, I'm so disappointed. See it for yourselves. They left Shinomiya out, unforgivable! Nakajima, the sex god, looks like an uke. Saionji (the queen) is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. And OMG Naruse! What the hell is that? Please, PLEASE, don't make Junjou Romantica into liveaction, please!
Vampire Knight is cut in half too. But at least, it is confirmed to be continued in October (source). So next week, there will be a final episode for now. I'm quite curious about it. Today, I watched episode #12 and was quite disappoited with it. The crutial scenes I had been looking forward to for a long time were finally there and it was not as good as in the manga. Ichiru is not such a wretch as they made him look like, and the scene between Kaname and Shizuka is much more intense in the manga (they even omitted some bits). I planned to post some pictures here but it would have to be the whole chapter so I gave up.
Kure-nai ended. And it was really good, maybe I'll make a separate post about the series. And about Koi Kaze too. I wouldn't have thought I would like such a romantic/sentimental anime but it was really good.
Now I'm watching Code Geass. Not as good as it could be, but highly watchable. Kind of reminds me of Death Note, Lelouch is in some ways similar to Light. That's why it's another disappointment for me, Code Geass could be much better if there wasn't so many deus ex machina scenes.
Higurashi no naku koro ni is another great series. Horror, so I had to take a break after 13 episodes XD But I'll continue soon.
Antique Bakery is starting next week *squee* I love it, I've read only first two volumes of manga, the rest was not scanlated due to licencing. Maybe I should buy it, but Angel Sanctuary has higher priority ^^ I already have the first three books and I want more.
karoupin is going to UK in September, so I'm going to take advantage of it - no shipping at all, yay!
