karoupin gave me a lot of asian ingredients to play with. I don't cook much often, but I was curious about how some of them will taste, so I made a big asian-like lunch today.

What's on the picture:
The lunch was tasty, I'd say, but it was too much of it ^_^ I'm quite content with the result.
What's on the picture:
- Three kinds of meat (pork, chicken, fish) with a plum sauce. I wanted to check out which kind of meat will be the best with the sauce. The pork and the chicken was quite good but fish not so much. The plum sauce is quite sweet and fish is sort of fragile so it absorbed too much of the sauce and was too sweet.
- Wheat noodles with soya sauce and vegetables: orange pepper, leek, onion, bamboo.
- Raw vegetables: cherry tomatoes, cucumber (I cut it in a shape of fan) and carrot (cut in a shape of flowers).
- Ginger. Quite strong, I'd say.
- Pickled cabbage. Or at least this was written on the wrapper. It looked more like some kind of pod. And it was revolting, we had to throw it away.
The lunch was tasty, I'd say, but it was too much of it ^_^ I'm quite content with the result.
